  2. Thanks Pradeep! I'm working on the next part in the series. It will cover A* pathfinding, state machines, and touch up on some design patterns and AI (all building upon the "Terrains" lesson). So you'll build units for land, sea, and air, and those units will be able to traverse the randomly created world.

  4. Thorgaming - I'm working on it today. I'm not recording yet, I'm still working on the outline and flow of the lesson. I don't have an ETA yet.

  5. Thats great I wanted to know that it was still in the pipeline, I think these messages will help others know the project is live. Many Thanks.

I have developed a box2d based rts game, I intend to use your system as a turn based campaign side of the game, i.e. armies on the campaign map related directly to the real battle you will fight, if you have played any of the total war series you will understand my idea.

my email address is tom.thornton@btconnect.com I would be happy to purchase the second part of the source without lesson (although i will certainly enjoy watching it once ready) then i can start to transform it into my needs. Thanks again.

  6. Sounds like a fun project! I'll contact you via email. I can sell you the source and if you remind me, I'll give you the lesson when it is complete. Better yet, maybe you could review the lesson once it is done before it ships.
